Singing the Heart Song

Sign up or log in to save this to your schedule and see who's attending!

Song and the power of music dwell at the heart of Celtic Mysticism. In fact, Taliesin is reputed as having said, the finest music in the world is the song that is singing right now. The Oran Mór, the Great Song of Life, is ever singing. You are a part of that song, a voice in that great choir. For your Oran Croí, your Heart Song, is ever singing you.
But how do you hear that song? How can you tune into that sacred music? How can you sing with the music of now?
Toning is a simple and ancient practice. Accessible to all levels of voice, toning offers an easy and direct means of connecting with the Heart Song, the Great Song of Life and the song that is singing right now. Come learn the art of toning and its connection to the power of music at the heart of Celtic Mysticism. Discover the pathway that leads from a simple tone to the creative power of now.

This workshop will focus on voice and the power of song. Working with the Celtic concepts of the Oran Mór (the Great Song) and the Oran Croí (the Heart Song), the workshop will help people connect to the creative power of song through toning. This experiential program welcomes all people, regardless of singing experience level, gender orientation or spiritual tradition.
