Bridging the Gap between Earth Based Spirituality and Sacred Responsibility to Non-Human Animals.
From the connection between climate change and factory farming to a growing consciousness surrounding the rights of animals to be protected from suffering, veganism is on the rise in mainstream communities. Regard for all sentient beings would seem a natural part of Pagan spirituality yet even as Pagan practitioners recognize the need for environmental protection and rights of oppressed groups, the topic of animal rights is often overlooked.
Whether you are vegan, vegetarian, or someone who loves animals and is curious about the intersection between Pagan spirituality and activism on behalf of nature and animals, this workshop invites a respectful discussion of the role of animals in Pagan practice and how we can evolve our practices to be compassionate, cruelty free and sustainable for all living beings.
